PRODUCTION
The Regulatory Board includes 34 beekeepers registered in the different regions of the zone. The total annual production is limited to 60,000 kg, produced from 13,500 beehives.

 
The job of extraction is always carried out with the best care and hygiene.

This method of extraction of the honey from the honeycombs can be carried out using knives with water at the point of boiling, electricity, vapor, etc.

The cleaning, extraction, conservation, storing and bottling of the honey is carried out with the highest care in order to maintain the highest natural quality.

This process is supervised by The Regulatory Board which prohibits the use of tools and machinery and bottling plants which are different from those authorized, such as the use of contaminated water and methods which do not correspond to the legally established standards of food packaging.


In regards to the feeding of the bees, it remains prohibited the use of syrups or similar products at the time of nectar collection.
